MINI & MOKE LAYSHAFT – A+ TYPE (3 STEP) – [C-22A1739]

Upgraded A+ type 3-step layshaft to suit 4 synchro Mini and Moke gearboxes.

The layshaft is a critical gearbox component, and in tuned engines or performance gearboxes the standard type can flex under load. This flex can lead to bearing damage, premature wear and in serious cases gearbox seizure.

This upgraded layshaft is manufactured from improved material and heat treated to the correct core depth, making it a strong choice for rebuilt, tuned or performance Mini gearboxes. It is especially recommended for straight cut gear sets, performance helical gearboxes or any A+ gearbox being built for harder use.
