Upgraded differential pin to suit Mini and Moke standard differential rebuilds.

This is a precision-ground replacement diff pin manufactured from upgraded material, making it a stronger and more reliable option than a basic standard replacement. The diff pin is a key wear point inside the differential, especially when the vehicle has seen hard use, poor lubrication, worn planet gears or heavy driving conditions.

For normal standard differential rebuilds, this upgraded pin is a smart choice. For higher performance applications, the molybdenum coated pin [C-BTA164] is available for use with standard planet gears.

IMPORTANT REBUILD NOTE

When rebuilding the differential, always inspect the planet gears carefully. Worn or damaged planet wheels are often the cause of heavy wear or damage to the diff pin, especially in vehicles used under hard or demanding conditions.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

The molybdenum coated performance diff pin [C-BTA164] must only be used with standard planet gears. It must not be used with bushed type planet gears.

For severe-use applications where the standard-style pin is breaking or wearing badly, consider [C-BTA164], provided the correct standard planet gears are being used.
