PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Genuine RHP differential bearing to suit Mini and Moke gearboxes.

These are the main differential carrier bearings used in the gearbox, with two required per gearbox. RHP bearings were originally fitted to production Minis, making them the correct choice for quality rebuilds, restorations and motorsport use.

The differential bearings are not an area worth taking chances with. Cheap aftermarket bearings can fail prematurely, and replacing them means removing and stripping the gearbox again, often with the risk of further internal damage. For long-term reliability, genuine RHP bearings are the smart choice.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This new steel-caged RHP bearing can be fitted either way around and should be pre-loaded by 1–2 thou.

Some original fitment bearings have one side marked “thrust side”. On those bearings, the thrust side must face away from the gearbox and should be pre-loaded to 4 thou.

WHY CHOOSE GENUINE RHP?

Motorsport users and experienced gearbox builders generally avoid cheap diff bearings because the labour involved in replacing a failed bearing is far greater than the saving on the part itself.

For a gearbox rebuild where reliability matters, genuine RHP differential bearings are the correct, proven option.
