Bonnet safety catch hook assembly to suit all classic Mini and Clubman models.

This spring-loaded catch is designed as a secondary safety lock for the bonnet. If the main bonnet latch fails, is not fully closed or releases while driving, the safety catch helps prevent the bonnet from blowing open.

The hook simply pins to the original bracket fitted to the right front corner of the bonnet. If your catch is missing, damaged, seized or no longer returning properly under spring tension, it should be replaced to keep the bonnet safely retained.
