Mounted on the B-pillar, this essential component engages with the door latch to keep the door securely closed, while the nylon guide block supports the door’s weight when shut.

Worn striker plates and nylon guide blocks often cause excessive door movement, rattles and poor latch engagement.

For best results, we recommend replacing both components together to restore correct door alignment and secure closing.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

Inspect the nylon guide block [14A6833] when replacing the striker plate, as wear in either component can affect door alignment.
