COOPER S FRONT PANEL [14A8308MS]

Featuring the correct number plate mounting brackets and Cooper “S” style slam panel, this panel is designed to help restorers achieve an authentic factory appearance. It also includes the angled reinforcement bracket used on 1964-1966 Cooper “S” models to provide clearance for the factory oil cooler installation, making it an excellent choice for period-correct restorations.

Interestingly, while original production Cooper “S” bodyshells were fitted with these unique front panels, Leyland never supplied the Cooper “S” version as a replacement part. Owners requiring a replacement panel were generally supplied with the standard Mini front panel instead, making correct Cooper “S” panels highly sought after today.

• For 1964-1966 Cooper “S” models requiring the angled oil cooler support bracket [24A1918], this panel already incorporates the correct angled reinforcement.
• Suitable for Mk2 Cooper “S” applications by drilling the appropriate grille mounting holes.
