PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Left-hand front floor pan repair panel to suit early Mini floor repairs.

Rust in the front floor area is common on classic Minis, and while small patch repairs can be made, replacing the floor section with a proper repair panel gives a cleaner, stronger and longer-lasting result.

This reproduction floor pan extends the full width and includes vertical flanges to assist with installation. It closely represents the original floor pressing and includes additional metal to suit the side of the tunnel on rod change cars.

WHY REPLACE THE FLOOR PAN?

You can spend hours cutting out rust and patching holes, but replacing the affected floor section properly is often the better long-term repair.

A new floor pan helps restore strength, improves the appearance of the repair and gives the vehicle a more solid foundation, especially during restorations or roadworthy repairs.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This panel includes extra material for the tunnel area on rod change cars.

For pre-1973 round tunnel floors, the extra material will need to be trimmed off during fitting.

This style was fitted up to 1990. After this, the Mini floor shape changed with the addition of a strengthening rib through the centre of the floor to carry pipes such as fuel lines on single point injection models. For later front floor repairs, see [MSL25L].
