MINI SEAT MOUNTING CROSSMEMBER – [14A9533]

Fits around tunnel cars. Approximate location of the vertical, forward wall is 17.5 – 17.75 inches back from the crease in the floor where the floor bends upward under the pedals. The forward wall lines up just forward of the front portion of the external jacking point in the sill. This crossmember is fitted to all minis 1960 on until the introduction of the square type tunnel (The rod change linkage). The square tunnel (with Rod change gearshift) was fitted from 1972/3 but was not fitted to the van or pick-up until 1976.
