Stainless steel brake caliper piston to suit Mini Cooper 997 and 998 models fitted with the original 7″ disc brake calipers.

This upgraded stainless steel piston is designed to improve longevity and help reduce heat transfer into the brake fluid compared with standard piston materials. Stainless steel also offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it a smart replacement when rebuilding original Cooper 7″ brake calipers.

Worn, pitted or corroded caliper pistons can damage seals, cause brake fluid leaks, sticking brakes or uneven braking performance. Replacing damaged pistons during a caliper rebuild helps restore proper brake operation and reliability.
