Front twin-leading drum brake shoe set to suit Mini and Moke models fitted with machined oversize front brake drums.

This set includes 4 front brake shoes, enough to service both front drum brake assemblies. These shoes are 1.5″ wide and are made for brake drums that have been machined to 7.000″ internal diameter, which is +.060″ / 1.5mm oversize.

Correct brake shoe size is critical. If standard shoes are fitted to oversized drums, braking performance may be poor and pedal feel can suffer. These oversize shoes are designed to match the larger machined drum diameter for better contact and safer braking.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

The brake drum internal diameter must be checked before ordering or fitting. These shoes are only suitable for drums machined to 7.000″ internal diameter.

Brake components are safety-critical. Always inspect the wheel cylinders, return springs, adjusters, drums and brake hoses during installation, then correctly adjust and test the brakes before road use.
