PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Rear 3/4″ brake wheel cylinder to suit Mini and Moke models from 1970 onwards, except Cooper S.

This rear wheel cylinder is the Lockheed double piston type with a 3/4″ bore, approximately 19.1mm. It is supplied individually and includes the bleed nipple, retaining clip and gasket required for fitting.

A worn, leaking or seized rear wheel cylinder can cause poor braking, brake fluid loss, uneven rear brake operation or difficulty bleeding the system. Replacing tired wheel cylinders is an important part of keeping the rear brakes safe, reliable and properly balanced.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

The best way to confirm the correct wheel cylinder is to remove the old cylinder and measure the bore size before ordering. This cylinder has a 3/4″ bore, which is approximately 19.1mm.

We strongly recommend replacing rear wheel cylinders in pairs. If one side has failed or is worn, the other side is usually the same age and may not be far behind.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE

Brake components are safety-critical. Wheel cylinders should be fitted by a qualified automotive mechanic. After installation, the brake system must be correctly bled, checked for leaks, adjusted and tested before the vehicle is returned to road use.
