MINI & MOKE PRIMARY GEAR THRUST PLATE [88G549]

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Genuine primary gear thrust plate / spacer to suit Mini and Moke A-Series engines.

This spacer fits against the primary gear on the crankshaft and is retained by the C-washer. The primary gear, thrust plate and C-washer are all wear points, so they should be carefully inspected during clutch, flywheel or engine rebuild work.

Replacing worn thrust components helps maintain correct primary gear location and reduces the risk of excess movement, noise or premature wear.

• Suits crankshafts: 1962 onwards with 1.5″ tail width
• Does not suit: Earlier crankshafts with 1-3/8″ tail width

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This thrust plate only fits crankshafts from 1962 onwards with the 1.5″ tail width. It does not fit the earlier 1-3/8″ tail crankshaft.

Always check the condition of the primary gear, thrust plate and C-washer during assembly, as all three parts can wear together.
