IMPORTANT ROAD USE NOTE

For road use, the EN8 steel backing plate [22A598] is recommended as a replacement for the original cast backing plates [22G270] or [22A598].

The road-use backing plate is nearly 2lb heavier, making it more suitable for normal driving where smoothness and drivability matter more than maximum weight reduction.
