Heavy duty clutch release bearing with a wider surface area, helps to spread even pressure on the clutch diaphragm and is favoured by racers. If you get a ‘growling’ noise when you put your foot on the clutch pedal chances are that the Thrust bearing is knackered, it is important to replace it as soon as you can because this will eventually lead to complete clutch pedal loss and the car will be immobile. (A Very low clutch pedal can also indicate a problem as well)
