CLUTCH/FLYWHEEL SHORT BOLT (FOR STRAPS) [2A3659]

• There are 3 of these shorter 5/16″unf bolts holding the spring straps 2A3658 to the flywheel on diaphragm type flywheels only.
• Not suitable for Verto flywheel.
• Only tighten up to 16 ft/lbs when using shake proof washer.
• Can be tightened to 18 ft/lbs if using flat washers and locktite.
• The steel used is EN1A leaded which is a low carbon free cutting steel which is used in most general engineering applications and is not suitable for hardening.
• It conforms to British Standards BS 220Mo7Pb and conforms to European Standards DIN 9SMmnPb36 but experience shows it is not suitable for heavy duty use or competition use.
• .Only use C-2A3659 for anything other than standard as this is flanged and in high grade material.
• 3 Required per vehicle.
• Suits both Mini & Mokes.
