MINI & MOKE IGNITION SWITCH SINGLE STALK – COLUMN MOUNTED – [18G8892]

This ignition switch is a replacement for the Leyland Minis & Mokes. This ignition switch is for the single stalk steering column. This was fitted on almost all Leyland minis from about 1974 onwards. This switch was also on Mokes up until the introduction of the dual stalk setup (in about 1980). Whilst this looks different to the old one this is a direct ‘bolt in’ replacement. Complete with 2 keys.

WIRE CONNECTIONS

• RED= BATTERY POSITIVE+ (GOES TO BROWN WIRE ON CAR)
• BLUE= TO START SOLENOID (GOES TO WHITE WITH RED WIRE ON CAR)
• WHITE= IGNITION COIL+ (AND FUSE) (GOES TO THIN WHITE WIRE ON CAR)
• YELLOW= ACCESSORIES & RADIO (GOES TO THICK WHITE WIRE ON CAR)
