MINI MK1 & MK2 COOPER S WIRING LOOM

Suits Models with 17ACR Internally Regulated Alternator

Brand new reproduction wiring loom designed to suit Mini K and MK2 Mini Cooper S models fitted with the later 17ACR alternator featuring an internal voltage regulator.

This loom is ideal for restorations, Cooper S replica builds, or upgraded classic Minis running the desirable Cooper S dash configuration together with a modern internally regulated alternator setup.

Manufactured using the correct factory wire colours as shown in original wiring diagrams, this loom provides a far cleaner, more reliable, and easier-to-install solution compared to repairing old brittle factory wiring or modified aftermarket systems.

The loom can also be fitted to virtually any Classic Mini that has:

  • A Cooper S style dashboard setup
  • An internally regulated 17ACR alternator installed

Each loom is supplied with an easy-to-follow numbered wire identification guide to simplify installation and future electrical troubleshooting.

Perfect for:

  • Mini K restorations
  • MK2 Cooper S restorations
  • Cooper S replica builds
  • Mini electrical upgrades
  • Replacing damaged or modified wiring looms

Features:

  • Brand new reproduction loom
  • Correct factory wire colours
  • Suits 17ACR internally regulated alternator
  • Suitable for Cooper S dashboard layouts
  • Numbered wire identification guide included
  • Excellent for restoration or upgraded road cars

After decades of repairs, modifications, and ageing insulation, original Mini wiring looms are often responsible for many common electrical faults. Replacing the loom is one of the best ways to improve reliability, safety, and ease of maintenance in any classic Mini.
