MINI & MOKE TAPPET CHEST COVER RUBBER GROMMET – [12A1176]

This is the rubber grommet that goes into the cup washer: 12A1177 and goes around the bolt to stop oil from getting out of the chest cover.
These can get really cooked behind the exhaust manifold; if you’re oozing oil it may be time to replace them.
