This is a strong fast road / rally camshaft that offers a noticeable performance upgrade while still remaining suitable for road use. It delivers strong mid-range and top-end power, making it a popular choice for customers wanting more performance without moving to a full race-style cam.

The Kent 276 has a slightly lumpy idle, especially in small bore engines, but is still acceptable in traffic when the engine is correctly set up. It can be fitted to both small bore and 1275cc engines, provided the correct oil pump is used.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This camshaft requires the correct slot drive oil pump to suit your engine size. For 998cc and 1100cc engines use [GLP139]. For 1275cc engines use [GLP138].

For best results, this camshaft should be matched with the correct carburettor, exhaust, ignition timing and compression ratio. Proper engine setup is important to get the best performance and drivability from the 276 grind.
