Competition-quality big inlet valve to suit 1275 Mini, Moke and Sprite A-Series performance engines.

If you want more performance, airflow is one of the key areas to improve. A larger inlet valve allows the cylinder head to flow more air, helping the engine breathe better and support higher power output when matched with the correct head work, camshaft, carburettor and exhaust setup.

This special big inlet valve measures 1.464″ / 37.2mm, making it larger than both the standard 1275 Mini inlet valve and the standard Cooper S inlet valve. It is designed for serious road and race engine builds where maximum cylinder head flow is required.

WHY CHOOSE THIS VALVE?

A larger inlet valve is one of the proven ways to improve airflow through a performance A-Series cylinder head. Better airflow allows the engine to breathe more efficiently, which is essential for fast road, rally and race applications.

This valve is heat treated to help reduce wear problems associated with unleaded petrol and is built to work hard in both performance road and competition engines.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This is a race-size inlet valve and must be used with suitable cylinder head machining, correct valve seats, compatible collets, springs and adequate piston-to-valve clearance. Always check the full valve train setup during assembly.
