MINI & MOKE LOWER STABILISER UPGRADE KIT- LEFT HAND ONLY [MSSK001]

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Left-hand lower engine stabiliser upgrade kit to suit Mini and Moke models, especially vehicles fitted with rod change gearboxes.

In standard form, engine movement is mainly controlled by the upper stabiliser bar. Over time, this can allow excessive engine movement and may place extra stress on the bulkhead-mounted stabiliser bracket, sometimes leading to cracking or failure.

This lower stabiliser kit gives the engine and gearbox extra support from below, helping reduce movement under acceleration, braking and gear changes. It is a smart upgrade for road cars, performance builds and any Mini or Moke where stronger engine control is required.

• Installation note: One hole will be required in the rear leg of the subframe

WHY FIT A LOWER STABILISER KIT?

Excessive engine movement can cause poor gear change feel, exhaust stress, mount wear and strain on the original upper stabiliser bracket.

Adding a lower stabiliser helps spread the load and gives the engine and gearbox a much firmer mounting arrangement. This is especially useful on rod change Minis and Mokes, where improved drivetrain control can make the vehicle feel tighter and more reliable.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This kit fits the left-hand side only.

It connects from the lower front gearbox case studs / bolts and runs rearward to the rear leg of the front subframe. One mounting hole will need to be drilled in the subframe leg during installation.

Lower stabiliser kits can be fitted to the left side, right side, or both sides depending on the vehicle setup and the level of engine control required.
