PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Uprated polyurethane upper engine steady bush kit to suit Mini and Moke A-Series engine steady assemblies.

The upper engine steady, located just above the flywheel housing, helps control engine movement caused by torque under acceleration, braking and gear changes. If the original rubber bushes are worn, soft or split, the engine can rock excessively, causing knocking noises, poor gear change feel and extra stress on exhausts, mounts and linkages.

This upgraded poly bush kit is a smart replacement for standard rubber bushes, offering improved durability and firmer engine control while still being suitable for road use.

WHY UPGRADE TO POLY?

Original rubber bushes can soften, perish and collapse over time. Polyurethane bushes offer a longer-lasting upgrade that helps keep the engine steadier and reduces unwanted movement through the drivetrain.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

Always inspect the engine steady arm, mounting bolts, brackets and bulkhead mounting area when replacing the bushes. Excessive engine movement can also be caused by worn engine mounts or damaged steady brackets.
