24 Tooth Primary Gear for Pre A Plus 1275 Engines

This 24 tooth primary gear suits Pre A Plus 1275cc Mini and Moke engines with a stepped crankshaft and floating bush arrangement.

It uses a floating bush retained by a circlip and is suitable for use with standard Pre A Plus drop gears. It also forms part of the newer Pre A Plus 1275 drop gear range.

Fitment & Use

This primary gear can be used with [C-22G943] idler and roller bearing kit, which is useful for gearboxes with idler gear case wear or fast road applications.

To fit this design to A Plus power assemblies, all 3 matching drop gears are required. The complete set is available as [C-22G945].

Important Technical Notes

End float must be checked during installation.

Recommended end float clearance: 0.0035″ to 0.0065″

Shim washers are available under [DAM6486] to [DAM6490].

Crankshaft primary gear running surfaces must be standard size, clean, and free from blemishes.
