PRODUCT OVERVIEW

High-performance lightened cam follower set to suit Mini and Moke A-Series engine builds.

These upgraded cam followers now weigh approximately 40 grams each, making them around 10% lighter than the previous version. Based on the original Leyland ST competition-style product, they are now manufactured to improved specifications for performance engine use.

Quality cam followers are critical to camshaft life, valve train control and overall engine reliability. The correct shape, weight and dimensional accuracy all help the cam follower rotate properly in the lifter bore and reduce unnecessary valve train stress at higher RPM.

WHY CHOOSE LIGHTENED CAM FOLLOWERS?

Cam followers are often overlooked during engine builds, but they play a major role in camshaft life and valve train performance.

Reducing follower weight helps improve valve train control, supports higher RPM potential and can reduce wear when matched with the correct camshaft and valve spring setup. The oil drain hole also prevents oil from collecting inside the follower, reducing unnecessary moving weight.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

Always check each cam follower for smooth movement in its lifter bore before final assembly.

The bore must be clean, straight and correctly sized. Performance engine builders will often hone the lifter bores to ensure smooth operation, correct follower rotation and maximum camshaft life.
