PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Cast alloy inlet manifold to suit twin 1 1/4″ SU carburettor setups, including H2 and H4 carburettors.

This manifold is designed for classic Mini and Moke A-Series engines where twin 1 1/4″ SUs are being fitted for improved breathing, throttle response and period-correct performance. It is a great choice for Cooper-style engine builds, restorations or mild performance upgrades.

DESIGN FEATURES

This manifold has been carefully produced to help minimise cross-port flow interference caused by the balance tube. It also has generous radii in the right areas to help improve airflow into the engine.

Further blending can be carried out if required, but the internal finish should be left with a ground texture to help fuel atomisation.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This manifold has the same stud hole spacing as the original [AEG347] manifold with [12A661] casting number, as fitted to Cooper models.

Please note, this manifold does not have the recessed holes for the head location collars as per the original item.

PLEASE NOTE

Do not polish the inside of the manifold. A polished internal finish can reduce fuel atomisation and may hurt drivability.
