MINI & MOKE MIDDLE EXHAUST MOUNT – [GEX7081]

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Middle exhaust mounting bracket to suit Mini and Moke exhaust systems.

This mount bolts to the front of the rear subframe and acts as the central, or first, rubber mounting point for the rear section of the exhaust system. It helps support the exhaust correctly, reducing movement, vibration and stress on the exhaust joints.

A worn, broken or missing exhaust mount can allow the exhaust to knock, rattle, sag or place extra strain on the manifold, downpipe and rear mounting points. Replacing it is a simple but important step in keeping the exhaust system properly supported.

WHY REPLACE IT?

The middle exhaust mount works hard and is often exposed to heat, vibration, road grime and movement from the exhaust system. Once worn or broken, it can cause rattles, exhaust misalignment and premature failure of other exhaust parts.

Always check the exhaust alignment before tightening the mount fully, as poor alignment can shorten the life of the mounting.
