Stainless steel twin SU heat shield kit to suit Mini and Moke engines fitted with twin 1.25″ HS2 SU carburettors.

This kit helps protect the carburettors and fuel bowls from excessive exhaust manifold heat, reducing heat soak and helping the engine run more consistently in hot weather, slow traffic or when the engine is being pushed hard.

Supplied complete with the link bar, bolts, nuts and springs, this is a practical kit for restoring or setting up a twin HS2 SU carburettor installation.

WHY FIT A STAINLESS HEAT SHIELD KIT?

Twin SU carburettors sit close to the exhaust manifold, where heat can affect fuel temperature and running quality.

A proper heat shield helps reduce heat soak around the carburettors, improving hot-start behaviour, idle quality and general reliability. It also helps prevent fuel vapourisation in the fuel bowls, which can become a problem on very hot days or when the engine is under load.

The stainless steel finish also gives the twin carburettor setup a cleaner, longer-lasting and more professional appearance.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This kit suits 1.25″ HS2 twin SU carburettors.

Please check your carburettor size before ordering, as HS2 and HS4 heat shield kits are different
