SU carburettor overhaul service kit to suit 1-1/4″ HS2 carburettors as fitted to many Mini and Moke models.

This kit includes the key service parts required to properly rebuild a worn HS2 SU carburettor. Over time, throttle spindles, bushes, jets, needle valves and gaskets can wear, causing air leaks, poor idle, fuel leaks, flat spots, hard starting and difficult tuning.

A properly overhauled SU carburettor can make a noticeable difference to how smoothly your Mini or Moke starts, idles and drives.

WHY OVERHAUL YOUR SU CARBURETTOR?

A worn carburettor can make a good engine run poorly. Air leaks around the throttle spindle, worn jets or tired gaskets can make the engine difficult to tune and cause rough running.

This overhaul kit gives you the main components needed to freshen up the carburettor and restore more reliable fuel control, smoother idle and better drivability.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

We highly recommend this kit is installed by someone experienced with SU carburettors. Correct spindle bush fitment, jet centring, float level adjustment and final tuning are important for best results.
