MINI & MOKE MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP KIT – NON GENUINE – [AZX1818KIT]

Non-genuine mechanical fuel pump kit to suit Mini and Moke models fitted with the earlier camshaft-driven fuel pump setup.

This kit is a practical aftermarket replacement for pre-1990 Mini and Moke applications, supplied with the parts required to install the fuel pump onto the engine. The pump is driven off the camshaft at the rear of the motor and provides fuel delivery for carburettor-equipped vehicles.

A good option for repairs, restorations or general maintenance where reliable fuel delivery is required without the cost of a genuine unit.

WHY REPLACE YOUR FUEL PUMP?

Mechanical fuel pumps are generally reliable, but age, wear and diaphragm failure can cause serious problems.

If the diaphragm fails, raw petrol can be pumped into the engine oil. This dilutes the oil, reduces lubrication and can lead to severe engine wear if not caught early. Replacing a tired or suspect pump is cheap protection compared with the cost of engine damage.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This kit suits earlier Mini and Moke models using a mechanical fuel pump driven from the camshaft.

It does not suit 1990-on Mini versions fitted with HIF44 or HIF38 carburettors. Please check your fuel pump type and carburettor setup before ordering.
