PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Primary gear thrust washer/shim to suit 1275cc Mini and Moke A-Series engines fitted with the stepped crankshaft.

This is the largest size primary gear washer in this range, measuring approximately .123″ with a tolerance of plus or minus .001″, giving a working size range of .122″ to .124″.

The primary gear washer is used to correctly set primary gear end float. Correct end float is critical for clutch operation, gearbox reliability and preventing unnecessary wear between the crankshaft, primary gear and thrust faces.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This washer is for 1275cc stepped crankshafts only. These cranks have a raised step for the primary gear to locate on.

Always measure primary gear end float during assembly and select the correct washer size to suit your engine. Incorrect end float can cause clutch drag, excessive wear or premature gearbox and primary gear problems.
