MINI & MOKE MAINSHAFT 4 SYNCHRO – PRE A+ [22G833RECO]

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Reconditioned 4-synchro mainshaft to suit Mini and Moke Pre A+ gearbox transmissions fitted with the 14mm nose mainshaft.

This mainshaft is required when using either [22G1371] or [22G1093] first motion shafts. It is an important component in any proper gearbox rebuild, especially where the original mainshaft is worn, damaged, pitted or no longer within suitable service limits.

A worn mainshaft can cause poor gear engagement, gearbox noise, excessive play and premature wear to other internal gearbox components.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This is a Pre A+ 14mm nose 4-synchro mainshaft.

It is not the same as the 3-synchro mainshaft [22G392], which is shorter.

It is also not the same as the later 18mm nose 4-synchro mainshaft [DAM7484].

Please check your gearbox type, mainshaft nose size and first motion shaft before ordering.

REBUILD ADVICE

When rebuilding the gearbox, always inspect the first motion shaft, laygear, bearings, baulk rings, synchro hubs and selector components at the same time. A gearbox is only as strong as the worn parts left inside it.
