Replacement first gear to suit Mini and Moke all-synchro gearboxes.

All Mini and Moke models fitted with all-synchro gearboxes use a 31 tooth straight cut first gear as standard. This gear is ideal for gearbox rebuilds, replacing worn or damaged original gears, or ensuring the correct factory tooth count is retained during assembly.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

Please check your existing gear count before ordering.

Standard all-synchro Mini and Moke gearboxes use a 31 tooth first gear. Complete straight cut race gear sets may use a different 29 tooth first gear, so this gear is not suitable for those race gear sets.

REBUILD ADVICE

When rebuilding a gearbox, always inspect the matching gears, synchro hub, baulk rings, bearings and laygear condition before final assembly. Replacing one damaged gear without checking the surrounding components can shorten the life of the rebuild.
