PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Pair of adjustable tie bars to suit Mini and Moke front suspension setups.

Adjustable tie bars are an important upgrade when setting up front suspension geometry, especially after fitting adjustable lower control arms or changing camber settings. When the lower arm length is changed to achieve the desired camber, the caster angle also changes. These adjustable tie bars allow the caster to be reset correctly.

Made stronger than the original-style tie rods, these bars are approximately 16mm in diameter and are far less likely to bend than standard factory items. They also feature a hexagonal adjustment section, making setup easier during wheel alignment.

WHY FIT ADJUSTABLE TIE BARS?

Tie bars do more than hold the lower arm in position. They also control caster and play a major role in front-end stability under braking.

If caster is not set correctly, the car may feel nervous, pull to one side or lose some of its steering confidence. Adjustable tie bars allow the front suspension geometry to be properly corrected, helping improve steering feel, straight-line stability and braking control.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

Do not use hard bushes on both sides of the tie bar, as no real advantage is gained. For best results, use a harder bush on the outside and a softer bush on the inside.
