Heavy duty adjustable tie bar kit to suit Mini and Moke front suspension setups.

When adjustable lower control arms are used to change front camber, caster angle can also change. To correct this, the tie bars need to be adjustable so the front suspension geometry can be properly set.

These heavy duty adjustable tie bars are almost twice the diameter of the standard factory type, making them far less likely to bend. They also feature a hexagonal section on the rod for easier adjustment.

Tie bars do more than set caster. They also help control front wheel stability under braking, making this a very important suspension upgrade for road, fast road and competition-style builds.

WHY FIT ADJUSTABLE TIE BARS?

Changing camber without correcting caster can leave the car feeling unstable, vague or uneven under braking.

Adjustable tie bars allow the caster angle to be reset correctly after suspension changes, helping improve steering feel, straight-line stability and braking control. The stronger heavy duty design also makes them a better option than standard rods for cars driven harder or fitted with upgraded suspension.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

After fitting adjustable tie bars or lower control arms, a proper wheel alignment and suspension geometry check is strongly recommended.

Correct caster, camber and toe settings are essential for safe handling, even tyre wear and predictable braking performance.
