Flywheel locking tool to suit Mini and Moke engine and gearbox work.

This tool bolts into position where the starter motor normally fits, locking the flywheel securely in place while removing or tightening the flywheel bolt.

It is a simple but essential workshop tool that helps prevent the engine from turning while high-torque fasteners are being undone or tightened.

WHY USE A FLYWHEEL LOCKING TOOL?

The 1″ 5/16 flywheel bolt can be extremely tight, and trying to hold the flywheel still without the correct tool can be frustrating, unsafe and damaging.

This locking tool gives a secure mechanical hold on the flywheel, making engine and clutch work cleaner, safer and far easier.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

The tool is fitted in place of the starter motor and should be bolted securely before applying force to the flywheel bolt.

Always ensure the vehicle is safely supported and the engine cannot move unexpectedly during use.
