Right-hand door lock latch mechanism to suit right-hand drive Mk1 Mini models fitted with sliding windows.

If your early Mini suffers from the common “door handle sag” problem, the internal door latch mechanism may be worn or tired. A worn latch can make the handle feel loose, sloppy or unreliable, and can affect how securely the door closes.

This is the right-hand side door lock mechanism for RHD sliding window Mini applications and is ideal for restoring proper door operation on Mini 850 and early slide-window models.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This lock is designed for RHD sliding window Mini doors only.

It can be modified to suit Australian wind-up window type doors, but this requires a significant amount of work and is not a direct bolt-in fitment.
