PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Right-hand lower door hinge to suit Minis fitted with external door hinges.

External door hinges are a classic Mini feature, but once they become worn they can cause door sag, poor alignment and difficulty closing the door properly. Replacing a worn lower hinge helps support the door correctly and restores a cleaner, more accurate fit.

This hinge is supplied with new studs, nuts and washers for fitment.

WHY REPLACE YOUR DOOR HINGE?

A worn lower hinge can allow the door to drop out of alignment, placing extra strain on the latch, striker, door skin and A-panel area.

Replacing the hinge helps the door sit correctly, close more smoothly and maintain the proper external hinge appearance that early Minis are known for.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This hinge uses gasket [BMP135] on the A-panel side and gasket [ALA7844] on the door side.

The supplied studs have Allen socket ends to make installation easier and help prevent damage during fitting.
