Non-genuine left-hand slide window door skin to suit Mk1 Mini doors with external hinges, internal door pockets and sliding windows.

The Mk1 Mini door is one of the most recognisable features of the early Mini, but rust along the lower edge is a very common problem. Once the bottom of the door skin has rusted, replacing the skin is often the cleanest and most practical repair.

This is a replacement door skin, not an overpanel. It wraps around the edges of the original door frame, giving a proper repair when fitted correctly.

WHY REPLACE THE DOOR SKIN?

Early Mini doors commonly rust along the bottom edge where moisture collects over time. A new door skin allows you to repair the original door frame without replacing the complete door assembly.

This is a good option for restorations, rust repairs or bodywork where the inner door frame is still usable but the outer skin is no longer worth saving.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This door skin is designed for Mk1 slide window doors.

It can also be fitted to Mk1 / Mk2 wind-up window doors, however modifications will be required. As with all replacement body panels, trial fitting is recommended before painting or final installation.
