Seat mounting crossmember to suit classic Mini models fitted with the early round transmission tunnel.

This crossmember is an important structural and mounting panel for the front seat area, making it ideal for floor repairs, restoration work or replacing a rusted, damaged or previously modified original section.

Correct seat mounting structure is essential for both fitment and safety, especially when restoring older Minis where floor and seat mounting areas are commonly affected by rust or previous repairs.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This crossmember suits round tunnel cars.

The later square tunnel type was introduced around 1972 / 1973 with rod change gearshift models, but was not fitted to van or pickup models until approximately 1976.

Please check your vehicle’s tunnel type before ordering.
