Complete rear back panel section extending from the roof down to the rear bumper valance, featuring the correct MK1 tail lamp and boot lid apertures.

This is an excellent repair panel for restoring rusted, damaged, or accident-affected rear sections on early Minis while retaining the classic MK1 appearance.

The panel includes:

• MK1 style rear lamp apertures
• MK1 boot lid opening
• Full rear body section from roof to lower valance

Important Fitment Information:

The rear window aperture (backlight opening) is manufactured using later MK2 tooling, meaning the rear window opening suits models from 1967–2000 rather than the smaller original MK1 rear window size.

Unfortunately, genuine panels with the original early MK1 rear window pressing are no longer available, making this the closest and most practical replacement option currently on the market.

For genuine MK1 restorations, this panel works extremely well because it is relatively uncommon for the upper rear window section to suffer major corrosion. Most restorers simply trim and adapt the panel to suit the individual repair requirements of the vehicle, retaining the original upper window area where necessary.
