Brake master cylinder, boxed and made in the UK, to suit Rover Mini models fitted with the built-in brake servo setup from 1988 onward.

This master cylinder was used right through to the final production twin point Rover Mini vehicles, making it the correct style replacement for later servo-assisted brake systems.

The brake master cylinder is a safety-critical part of the hydraulic braking system. If the pedal slowly sinks, feels soft, or brake fluid is leaking around the master cylinder or servo area, the master cylinder should be inspected and replaced if required.

Use only the correct DOT4 or DOT5.1 brake fluid.

These cylinders are not designed for other fluids such as Castrol SRF racing fluid or any mineral-based fluid. Using the wrong fluid can damage the internal seals and cause brake system failure.
