PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Replacement thrust bearing carrier to suit Rover Mini models fitted with the later Verto clutch system.

Late model Minis were upgraded to the smoother operating Verto clutch setup, which uses different clutch operating components inside the flywheel housing compared with earlier pre-Verto models. This carrier holds the clutch release bearing in position and allows the clutch mechanism to operate correctly.

A worn or damaged thrust bearing carrier can affect clutch operation, causing noise, poor release, rough pedal feel or difficulty selecting gears. Replacing it during clutch service is a sensible step, especially when fitting a new clutch release bearing.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This carrier suits Verto clutch systems only. It is not suitable for earlier pre-Verto clutch assemblies, which use different clutch operating components.

For best results, inspect the clutch arm, plunger, clevis pin, slave cylinder and release bearing at the same time, as wear in any of these parts can affect clutch operation.
