MINI & MOKE DRIVE SHAFT RUBBER COUPLING KIT [GCD101]

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Replacement drive shaft rubber coupling kit to suit very early Mini and Moke applications fitted with rubber U-joint style drive couplings.

The early rubber drive couplings were used to help reduce harshness and vibration being transferred through the drivetrain into the cabin. Over time, the rubber can separate from the metal sleeves, allowing the driveshaft to run out of centre. This can cause vibration, knocking, drivetrain movement and possible contact with the gearbox casing or exhaust system.

This kit is a standard replacement coupling kit supplied with U-bolts and nuts for one side only.

WHY REPLACE OLD RUBBER COUPLINGS?

Old rubber drive couplings can crack, split or separate from the internal metal sleeves. Once this happens, the driveshaft may no longer rotate correctly, which can create vibration and place extra strain on surrounding drivetrain parts.

Replacing worn couplings helps restore smoother drive operation and reduces the risk of further damage caused by excessive movement.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This kit is supplied for one side only.

If replacing both left and right drive shaft couplings, two kits will be required.
