PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Kent high performance 286 grind rally camshaft to suit Mini and Moke A-Series engines.

This is the most aggressive road-usable camshaft we stock and is best suited to performance 1275cc engine builds. It delivers very strong mid-range and top-end power, making it a great choice for fast road, rally or competition-style engines where outright performance is more important than smooth low-speed driving.

The Kent 286 has a lumpy idle and is not ideal for heavy traffic or standard daily driving. It can be fitted to small bore engines, but only when the engine has been properly prepared, ideally with a big valve cylinder head and supporting upgrades.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This camshaft can be fitted to both small bore and 1275cc engines, but the correct oil pump must be used to suit the engine and camshaft drive type.

For best results, this cam should be matched with the correct compression ratio, cylinder head, carburettor, exhaust and ignition setup. It is a serious performance camshaft and is not recommended for customers wanting a smooth idle or gentle traffic-friendly engine.
