MINI & MOKE OIL PUMP – 850/998/1100 – PIN DRIVE – [GLP142]

Original short pin drive oil pump to suit pre-A Plus Mini and Moke engines in 850cc, 998cc and 1100cc applications.

The oil pump is one of the most important components in the engine, as it supplies oil pressure to protect the bearings, crankshaft, camshaft and valve train. A worn or incorrect oil pump can lead to low oil pressure, poor lubrication and serious engine damage.

This pump is designed for pre-A Plus small bore engines using the short pin drive arrangement. It is ideal for engine rebuilds, oil pressure repairs or replacing a worn original pump with the correct type.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This pump only suits pre-A Plus short pin drive engines. Always check your existing oil pump drive type before ordering, as pin drive, star drive and slot drive pumps are not interchangeable.

INSTALLATION NOTE

When fitting, make sure the old bolts do not bottom out in the block. We recommend using the correct 1/4″ UNF x 1-1/2″ bolt [GFK5181] where required.

For best results, fit with a new gasket [GUG705560] and lock tab [12G926], then prime the oil system before starting the engine.
