PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Primary gear thrust washer/shim to suit 1275cc Mini and Moke A-Series engines fitted with the stepped crankshaft.

Primary gear thrust washers are used to set the correct primary gear end float during engine and gearbox assembly. Getting this clearance right is important for smooth clutch operation, reliable gearbox performance and reducing unnecessary wear between the crankshaft, primary gear and thrust surfaces.

This washer measures between .118″ and .120″ and is one of several sizes available to help take up play and achieve the correct running clearance.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This washer is for 1275cc stepped crankshafts only. These cranks have a raised step for the primary gear to sit on.

Always measure primary gear end float during assembly and select the correct washer size to suit your engine. The listed washer size is measured with a plus or minus .001″ tolerance, giving each part number an approximate .002″ working range.
