Screw-in petrol tank sender unit to suit early Mini saloon models fitted with the original non-voltage stabilised fuel gauge system.

This sender is designed for early 850 type Mini saloons from 1959 to 1964 that used the screw-in fuel sender setup. It is an important replacement part when the original sender is faulty, giving incorrect fuel readings, sticking, or no longer working at all.

Correct sender selection is important, as later Minis used a different knock-in sender and voltage stabiliser system.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE

This sender is for early Minis fitted with the screw-in type fuel sender and fuel gauge system with no voltage stabiliser.

Later models used the knock-in type sender [XNB10007] and a voltage stabiliser, so please check your tank, sender mounting type and fuel gauge system before ordering.

WHY REPLACE IT?

A worn or faulty sender unit can cause inaccurate fuel gauge readings, sudden empty readings, or a gauge that does not move correctly.

Replacing the sender with the correct early screw-in type helps restore reliable fuel level readings while keeping the fuel system correct for early Mini saloon applications.
